Stunning Sights of Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park is probably one of the most famous landmarks in the United States. Visible from space this natural wonder offers panoramic views of ancient rock carved away from years of time.
For over 1.2 million acres the wilderness of the Grand Canyon extends its spacious beauty. In the 1880s people discovered the beautiful lands that created what is now Grand Canyon National Park. To bring guests they constructed railroads and accommodations for visitors.
In 1919, the land was opened as a National Park. It was the 15th park to receive this recognition. It was the hopes that the area would forever be preserved for its natural beauty.
There are many beautiful places to visit within the park. Also guided tours, helicopter excursions and so much are available to guests.
