Pensacola’s Famous Graffiti Bridge
One of the most famous modern landmarks in the city of Pensacola is the Graffiti Bridge. With years of paintings and décor scattered over the bridge, people come to see what new additions there are as it is constantly changing.
With paintings updated daily, the Graffiti Bridge in Pensacola is an iconic landmark for locals and tourists. Those that make a journey to this artistic place bring with them paint and some inspiration to mark their unique spin on the art covering the bridge.
The bridge was built in 1888 for passing railway cars over 17th street. Known for its low archway the bridge has made the news several times when large trucks or trailers have ran into the 10’8″ clearance.
Today you may find people painting their names, places their from, motivational sayings or just about anything sprawled across the bridge. So if you are visiting the Pensacola area, why not venture just a short drive from downtown to check a very unique artistic place in the city.

How to Visit
You can easily park at the public boat ramp right in front of the bridge to see this location. Do watch for traffic as the road, bridge and above rail lines are fully operational. This location is free to visit.
