Each year the National Park Service announces select free days for admission into more than 400 parks across America.
January 18: Martin Luther’s Birthday
April 17: First Day of National Park Week
August 4: Great American Outdoors Act 1st Anniversary
August 25: National Park Service Birthday
September 25: National Public Lands Day
November 11: Veterans Day

While many of the National Parks honor the free admission, this does not include other amenities such as camping fees, tours prices and other charges. To verify that your selected park is participating it is recommended to contact them in advance.
If you are planning on exploring the National Parks, try to plan out your vacation during one of the free admission dates! While the parks may be busier, it is still a wonderful opportunity to explore them. Even though admission is free donations are welcomed to continue the preservation of America’s National Parks.
