A Trip to Alexander Springs Recreation Area
An easily accessible spring for visitors within Ocala National Forest is Alexander Springs. These springs are about 72° year round. The palm trees and vegetation that surround these springs make it a tropical oasis.
Alexander Springs is located within the Ocala National Forest. They are quite large and offer plenty of space for swimming. Pavilions and benches are scattered along the shoreline for guests to use. The water does have a gentle sloping access and stairs.

The springs were very refreshing on a hot summer day! The waters are crystal clear and if you swim out to the spring head be sure to take a mask! You can look down and see the rocks and fish deep below!
How to Visit
