A Journey Behind Indian Falls
Indian Falls tumble 25 feet over a stony cliff into the river below. A hidden cove is nestled under the falls which allows visitors to walk up to the toppling water from behind. This waterfall offers a beautiful view and is in a unique location.
The overall beauty of DeSoto State Park really is worth the visit. So many waterfalls are located within the park and they are found along some scenic hiking trails. All of the trails within the park range from easily accessible to moderate.
Violet Sky’s Visit
Indian Falls are very beautiful. It was one of my favorites in the park due to the fact that it has something none of the others have. A cute little hideaway cove tucked away behind the falls. To access this cove I had to climb down a short drop to walk out on the ledge that goes to Indian Falls. I was very cautious as it was slippery from the rain.
Being able to walk behind the falls made this one special. It reminds me of how truly beautiful nature is.
